Fall 2024 Detergent Drive

It’s time for Calvary’s semi-annual Detergent Drive!

Twice a year, in March and September, Calvary collects donations of liquid laundry detergent for United Methodist Open Door. As part of the ministries in Wichita’s downtown area, Open Door provides laundry services through their Homeless Resource Center, to help maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and dignity of their clients. Calvary is proud to be a supporter of this amazing ministry (in fact, we have been told that we are Open Door’s biggest supporter of this need!).

To help make this ministry possible, please bring your donations of liquid laundry detergent (any brand, any size) to the church Narthex, the big room through the main front doors, now through October 6. Or, you can contribute financially through this link and let the Outreach Team do the shopping for you!
